Right here on the Shop page
of this web site, providing you live in one of the "reciprocal"
states to which we can legally ship your wines directly from
California. Or you can call our tasting room at 707.254.2140. There
are other ways as well. One easy way is simply to ask your favorite wine retailer to order Artesa wines. We released our first 8,000 cases of wine in September, 1999. We're steadily increasing our production with each vintage and are currently distributed in most major markets. |

How long has Artesa Winery existed? |

Our beautiful facility was completed and opened
as Codorniu Napa in September, 1991. The winery was devoted entirely
to méthode champenoise sparkling wine production. In 1997, we changed focus predominately to ultra-premium still wine production. In a ceremony at the winery on July 24, 1999, we unveiled the new winery and brand name and released our first wines on September 1, 1999. |

Did someone purchase Codorniu Napa? |

No, we're still owned by the Codorníu
Group of Spain, one of the oldest and largest winemaking companies
in the world. The same family has owned Codorniu since 1551.
Codorníu produces some four million cases of méthode
champenoise sparkling wines each year. Since 1997, the company has
been adding more still wine properties to its portfolio. |

Do you still make sparkling wine? |
|
Indeed we do. Each vintage since 1997 we have been making a small amount of prestige cuvée. Our first Codorniu Napa Grand Reserve was released in the summer of 2005 after spending over seven years aging on the yeast. We have set aside enough of the Napa cuvées to ensure that sparkling wines will always be available for tasting and sales at our tasting room. |
