Our Carneros Estate Wines are made with grapes from the 173 acres of vineyards surrounding our winery in Napa Carneros. This is an area of extremes–shallow soils, sparse rainfall, strong winds, cooling fogs from San Pablo Bay and marine influence from the Pacific Ocean–that produces wines of good structure and intensity.Each year from our estate vines we produce a Chardonnay and a Pinot Noir. It's also possible that our winemaker will select Reserve wines from this vineyard – but only if those barrel lots represent the best expression of the variety and the vintage.
